Centurion Y2K Card
The Centurion is an 8-bit card
that fits into any ISA or EISA slot on your PC. It contains a
lithium battery, which gives it a life of up to 30 years. The
Centurion has a Dallas Real Time Clock (RTC) on board, which
corrects the system RTC and BIOS clocks, allowing the PC to
correctly roll over to the Year 2000. The card also allows the
system to correctly identify the Year 2000 leap-year problem.
Y2K Doctor
Y2K Doctor is a software package that
acts similar to anti-virus software. It scans the entire hard
drive, software applications, and files, searching for Year
2000 code problems (two-digit year code). It then converts the
problem code in machine language, changing the two-digit year
codes to four-digit year codes, thereby rendering all
