Diagnostics, is designed to take the pain and the mystery out
of the Year 2000 issue for all the PC community, be they
beginner, intermediate or advanced. Y2K is entirely
non-destructive; it runs in a self-contained environment. It
does not alter any system files or registries, nor does it
write to any hard disk.
Y2K, Year 2000 Diagnostics is available as a corporate
version, offering many features for recording machine details,
producing reports to file and integration with network
environments:
- The reminder to register the shareware version on each
execution is removed
- A master copy is provided for unlimited use within an
agreed environment
- Each master copy is encoded with the licence holder's
details
- The key test indicators can be executed automatically
and summarised
- Each PC can be identified exactly by the use of existing
company PC parameters
- Further identification can be added with the use of free
form text
- PC BIOS dating and manufacturers information can be
summarised
- All the additional information can be recorded into a
report file
- The design and architecture of the program allows for
customisation to accommodate network-based use
