successfully rolls over from December 31, 1999 to January 1,

98 ensures that the RTC (Real Time Clock), BIOS (Basic
Input/Output System), DOS, and Windows successfully rolls over
from December 31, 1999 to January 1, 2000. It also verifies
other important dates known to cause problems with the next
millennium like checking to ensure your hardware knows there
is a February 29, 2000 and that it successfully rolls over to
the year 2001. If Nuts & Bolts 98 discovers a problem with
the hardware, a fix will be applied to force the PC to
properly recognize the year 2000. This is done by loading a
