DATEFINDER works by analysing every spreadsheet cell,
text field, formula and code line for pre-defined Y2k Custom
Keywords. It then lists all Y2k relevant items found in a
comprehensive report. Also it has a built in Date Format Fixer
which converts non-compliant date formats e.g. dd/mm/yy to
dd/mm/yyyy.
Large numbers of spreadsheets can be processed using
Batch Processing, on any Network Drive.
In
addition, DATEFINDER can be used as a spreadsheet migration
tool, by Converting Spreadsheets in one spreadsheet format to
another, e.g. From LOTUS 1-2-3 to EXCEL. This is used in
conjunction with the Format fixer. So DATEFINDER has a life
beyond the Year 2000 making it an extremely effective
spreadsheet tool.
DATEFINDER can analyse any language code so it can be
used for non- Spreadsheet programming languages such as C++,
COBOL and FORTRAN.
