Remediator- First Fully Automated Remediation Tool
for both Microsoft Access & Excel
The Remediator is the first tool, which will actually FIX
Non-Compliant dates within both Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel
Data Files û eliminating the need for you to purchase individual
tools for each application.
A Wizard will guide you through the basic scanning and
remediation procedures and there is an extensive on-line Help
facility available.
Individual files or large groups of up to several thousand files
can be scanned for both Compliant and Non-Compliant Dates.
The Remediator can search for all 72 known date formats,
including Full, Partial and Ordinal. International Date types can be
added and 33 date separators are recognized.
Once scanning has been completed an on-screen report identifies
each date field within each file as being either Compliant or
Non-Compliant. These reports can be printed or exported to a word
processor or spreadsheet for further analysis.
Once the dates have been identified, the Remediator then provides
you with the ability to automatically convert all Non-Compliant
dates to the Compliant 4-digit format. To ensure complete security
of data, the original data file is preserved and a copied made which
is then remediated.
The Remediator's ease of use and powerful functionality makes it
the ideal tool for any organization whether they are a small
business, large corporation or Government Department.
It will enable you to automatically SCAN and FIX dates in files

It is able to completely and accurately SCAN and FIX: Calculated
Dates, Hidden Sheets, Protected Worksheets, Hidden Cells, Macros

Analyzes Visual Basic application code and / or references to
function and Macro procedures.
It has a number of Scanning Parameters, which can be altered to
suit your specific requirements. These parameters include; File
Characteristics, Date Formats, Date Characteristics & Path to
File.
For simplicity, the most commonly required parameters have been
set as "Defaults" giving users with even the most basic knowledge of
computers the ability to scan & fix their data files.
It is a Windows program, which operates under Windows 95, 98 or
NT.
