Terminal Server License Service May Not Start on 2/29/2000 |

SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to start the Licensing service on your computer running Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition, on February 29, 2000, the service may not start. An error message is written to the Event Viewer System
log. Note that this problem does not prevent your computer from connecting to the terminal server. However, the license service is not able to track new clients that have not already obtained a license until the Licensing service is started.
RESOLUTION
A supported software update that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows NT 4.0, Terminal Server Edition service pack
that contains this software update.
