The data from channel 0 is automatically stored in M0, channel 1 in M1, etc. D/A Output Icon Outputs a burst of data of up to 4096 points per channel with a maximum of 16384 points per burst. Data from M0 is output to channel 0, M1 to channel 1, etc. Digital I/O Icon Reads from or outputs to the DAS board's digital ports. All available digital I/O ports can be accessed. Strip Chart Recorder Icon Acquires and displays up to 8 channels from the first 16 available A/D channels. Pressing [Enter] or clicking the left mouse button aborts the strip chart process. Proportional Integral Derivative Icon Single-point PID allows for PID coefficients and setpoint values to be specified for each of the 16 input channels. PID tuner provides 8 channels of strip chart acquisition. Any 1 of the 8 channels may be the PID input channel. High Speed A/D to Disk Icon Acquires up to 16 channels of data and stores the data directly to disk. This is only available to boards that have DMA capability. Fast Fourier Transform Icon Performs a forward or inverse Fast Fourier Transform on the current memory. For an inverse transform the phase information must be in the TMP register. Results are stored in TMP. Peak Valley Detect Icon Searches a wave for the specified number of peaks or valleys and returns the results in TMP. Digital Filter Icon Performs a low, high or band pass filter in the time domain using a Blackman window. Results are stored in TMP. Statistics Icon Returns the selected statistics for the current memory location. Results are stored in TMP. Integrate Icon Performs an integral using the 1/3 Simpson's rule. Results can be returned as a running integral or a total area. Results are stored in TMP. Differentiate Icon Performs a first order derivative. Results are stored in TMP. Curve Fit Icon Performs a linear or polynomial curve fit. The fitted data is placed in TMP and the goodness of fit values is displayed in the user selected graph area. Arithmetic Operators Icon Performs unary, binary, or array creation operation. Binary operations use TMP as the second operand. Begin Loop Icon Begins a programming loop. Only accessible when record is on. End Loop Icon Ends a programming loop. Types of loops: Keystroke:loop until a key pressed. Count:loop a specified number of times. Conditional:loop until a condition is met. Only accessible when record is on. Comparison Operators Icon Performs a comparison operation. If the comparison is true, the next sequence command will be executed. If the comparison is false, the next sequence command will be skipped. Only accessible when record is on. Synchronize Loop Timing Icon Sets the loop timing so that the loop always executes in the same amount of time. The SYNC icon must be selected before the LOOP icon is selected. Only accessible when record is on. Wait Icon Delays sequence playback a specified number of milliseconds or until a key is pressed. Only accessible when record is on. Message Icon Displays a message. The message may contain 5 lines of text and 5 single values from the specified memory locations. Uses the current graph area. Clear Screen Icon Clears the current graph area. Prompt for Y or N Input Waits for a keyboard input of 'Y' or 'N'. If a 'Y' is entered the next sequence command is executed; if an 'N' is entered the next command is not executed. Only accessible when record is on. Print Icon Prints a screen dump. HPGL Plot Output Icon Generates plotter output (HPGL) commands. Output may be sent to the plotter or a file. PCX File Input/Output Icon Reads or writes pixel information from the screen to or from a PCX file. File I/O Icon Reads from or writes to a data file, using memory locations M0 through M15. Also provides DOS file operations: directory, copy, rename, and delete, as well as ASCII import/export. Data Table Icon Displays x and y data values from the current memory location (M0 - M15) in first and second columns, respectively. XY Plot Icon Draws a plot of the data in TMP vs the data in the current memory location, M0 through M15. The current graph area is cleared and the axes are drawn. Overlay Plot Icon Overlays a plot of the data in the current memory location vs its x values without redrawing the axes. Data Plot Icon Draws a plot of the data in the current memory location vs its x values. Also draws the axes. Uses the current graph area. Record Icon Turns record operation on/off. When record is on, icon selections add commands to the sequence file. Record light is red when record is on, blue when record is off. Playback Icon Begins playback of a previously recorded sequence. Playback light is red when playback is on, blue when playback is off. View Icon Allows you to view the currently selected record sequence file. If the file is empty then nothing happens when the icon is selected. You can also delete lines from the sequence being viewed. Palette Icon Allows you to select colors for the Easyest screen. The 'D' will reset that color to the default, or you can reset all colors to their defaults. A mono switch is also available. TMP Icon Temporary memory location.
