They moved out soon after they had a party. During the party, a ³ ³ small group of people gathered together in the kitchen to talk. When one ³ ³ person in the group said, "Hey, is this place really haunted?" With that, ³ ³ a bunch of pots and pans began rattling. Then a cupboard door began swing-³ ³ ing open then closed then open again, repeatedly. ³ ³ That was enough, the people moved out. But soon after the next new owners ³ ³ moved in and have remained. ³ ³ The history of the house is that it was built sometime in the 1830s. It ³ ³ was once a farmhouse but the city had now moved in around it. It was built³ ³ by the Philbrick family. The last Philbrick to live in the house was Eva ³ ³ who died in the early 1950s. The house was then purchased by a Boston ³ ³ business man who moved in with his mother. He lived there until with her ³ ³ until she died in the early 1970s. Then he lived there alone until his ³ ³ death in 1987. ³ ³ Some believe the ghost is that of Eva Philbrick and others believe it is ³ ³ the spirit of the last owner. ³ ³ The house is still haunted. No formal investigation has ever taken place. ³ ³ The house is located on Route 107 47 Depot Road Kingston, New Hampshire. ³ ³ It is privately owned, please do not disturb the owners. ³ ÀÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÙ
