In order to patch PowerMonger, use a file editor such as
the Mace Utilities' or Norton or Central Point, and search
the file GAME.EXE for the following hexadecimal string:

CD FD 2B 00 75 33 06 B8 9A 51

replace it with the following:

CD FD 2B 00 90 90 06 B8 9A 51.

PowerMonger is now unprotected.  Have fun.
