To update BIOS, you need to create the BIOS Update diskette.

1. Insert one blank, formatted 3.5ΓÇ¥ diskette into the flexible diskette drive of a PC running Microsoft Windows.

2. Click the executable file and then click ΓÇ£OpenΓÇ¥ to proceed.

3. Click ΓÇ£YesΓÇ¥ to proceed if a confirmation screen appears.

4. Click ΓÇ£OKΓÇ¥ to proceed.

5. Press any key to create the BIOS Update diskette for the server.

6. After the diskette is ready, press ΓÇ£NΓÇ¥ to quit, or ΓÇ£YΓÇ¥ to create another diskette.

7. Reboot the server from this BIOS Update diskette. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish the update procedure.

NOTE: Please note that the Support CD may not provide the most recent BIOS. Verify the server BIOS version against the latest BIOS version listed for your server on the HP website: http://www.hp.com
