Hot-spare physical drive Deleting a hot-spare drive

Use this action to delete a hot-spare physical drive from your configuration.

  1. In the Physical devices view, click (hot-spare drive).

  2. Right-click Delete hot-spare drive. The Adaptec Storage Manager deletes the hot-spare drive from the configuration by setting the drive state to ready. If you removed the drive from the %SERVER%, the Adaptec Storage Manager removes the drive from the configuration.
