Former GnuTEX users may be pleased with many of the new features (many inspired by your suggestions!), but will also find many changes. GNUPLOT will not run all GnuTEX input files unchanged. Several GnuTEX features were not included in GNUPLOT because they were specific to the LATEX driver. I encourage you to use the newer GNUPLOT. A translator is supplied with the GNUPLOT distribution that attempts to translate your old GnuTEX 1.6 input files into GNUPLOT 2.0 files.
