Troubleshooting

This section describes problems that you may encounter, and possible solutions.

• I started the server, but I donÆt see the "waiting for connection" message.

You may have started the server disabled. Go to the Connections page of the console and see if the button reads "Allow New Connections". If so, the server is disabled. Click the button to enable connections. Also, edit the dsj.properties file so that the Disable property is false.

• An application is not working correctly.
• A user complained that they got a "The application is not properly installed on the server" error.

Try recalculating the package dependencies for the application (see Recalculating package dependencies).
