umbrella some months ago.

so that they do not have to go back thru the carriers hubs when enroute
to us. They are physically well taken care of.

The
G-8(7)-G-10 powers meeting in Tokyo STRENGTHENED their embargo and
sanctions package against the United States, making it clear to Bush II that in
the event of any further resistance and blocking of the settlements by
him and his associates:
•
Not only will US commercial flights be refused landing permission in
the nine countries (G-10 minus the United States), but this will
immediately apply to US military flights, as well.
•
The blockage of oil/fuel deliveries will be rigorously enforced with
immediate effect. This suggests to the Editor that the country
component of the OPEC cartel (which is of course a corporate cartel,
but the countries can override the corporations) will collaborate as a
bloc.
• International banking
operations applicable to US banks and to the branches and subsidiaries
of US banks in the nine G-10 countries will be impeded and closed down
at once (that is, on Monday). Specifically all wire transfer servicing
of US payment and receipt transactions will be blocked by the nine
countries. This will mean that the United States will be unable to
transfer or receive funds to or from any of the nine G-10 countries
from Monday 11th February 2008.
•
An announcement will be made from Tokyo by the G-9 countries,
presumably also on Monday, in which the facts of this crisis will be
spelled out for the whole world to understand, and in which the rampant
ongoing criminality of the Bush White House will be exposed.

rather than this Grandfather of all scandals be brushed under the
carpet against the background of the actual releases of the unlawfully

consideration. By imposing the draconian sanctions that WILL BE IMPOSED
failing settlement this weekend, the Rest of the World (represented by
the G-9 powers, consisting of the G-7 plus Russia and
China), will also inflict huge damage on their own economies.
The United States faces the prospective enmity of Canada, Britain, Russia, China, Germany
(even), France
(because Nicolas Sarkozy was forced into a corner and had to choose
between his corrupt association with Bush, and his own survival), Netherlands, Italy and
Japan.

the US Supreme Court, which, with its Justices and Assistant Justices,
has been in contempt since last Thursday, thereby providing relevant

George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B Cheney, as alluded to in

THE NINE POWERS: THIS WEEKEND IS ‘THE END OF THE ROAD’
In
response to this defiance, however it was packaged, the G-8/G-10
meeting conveyed the above message in even more emphatic terms than
previously and made it crystal clear that this weekend is the ‘end of
the road’. So far as the Rest of the World is concerned, there will be
no more leeway following the conclusion of this G8/G-10 Meeting. THEY
HAD BETTER MEAN WHAT THEY SAY.
Implementation
of the agreed-upon sanctions against the United States will decimate
the US economy within weeks, impoverish the American people, trigger an
inflationary slump, create massive domestic and external tensions, and
usher in a beggar-thy-neighbour round of global trade and financial
warfare with horrendous ongoing ‘unexpected consequences’.
Furthermore,
by obtusely refusing to do what it is his responsibility and duty to
do, G. W. Bush will again be committing gross treason against the
United States and the American people, and could therefore be arrested
on the spot, along with his handler and Vice President, Mr Cheney.
To
place this matter in the relevant historical perspective, this Meeting
should be seen as a sequel to the G-8 Meeting at Heiligendamm, near
Rostock in northern Germany, held in June 2007 [see our report dated
2nd June 2007, et seq.], which Bush bamboozled, as we predicted he
would, by falsely representing that Ambassador Wanta’s stolen $4.5
trillion had been paid over to him, which was (a) not the case, and (b)
not intended to be the case.
With
eight further months of double-cross, lying, unlawful financial
chicanery and other financial abominations having since elapsed, the
firm decision was taken some time ago that this G-8/G-10 Meeting would
be ‘the end of the road’ for these madmen. And so it has proved.

secret war in Iraq by Richard Sanders
Canada was, and still is, the leading member of this secret group,
which we could perhaps call CW-HUSH, the “Coalition
of the Willing to Help but Unwilling to be Seen Helping.”
The plan worked. Most Canadians still proudly believe that their
government refused to join the Iraq War. Nothing could be further from
the truth. Here are some of the ways in which we joined the fray:
Escorting
the US Navy: Thirteen hundred Canadian troops aboard Canada’s
multibillion dollar warships escorted the US fleet through the Persian
Gulf, putting them safely in place to bomb Iraq.
Leading the coalition Navy: Canadian Rear Admiral Roger Girouard
was in charge of the war coalition’s fleet.
Providing
war planners: At least two dozen Canadian war planners working at US
Central Command in Florida were transferred to the Persian Gulf in
early 2003 to help oversee the war’s complicated logistics.
Commanding the war: In 2004, Canadian Brigadier General Walt Natynczyk
commanded 10 brigades totalling 35,000 troops. He was Second-in-Command
of the entire Iraq War for that year. When Governor General Clarkson
gave Natynczyk the Meritorious Service Cross, her office extolled his
“pivotal role in the development of numerous plans and operations
[which] resulted in a tremendous contribution… to Operation Iraqi
Freedom, and… brought great credit to the Canadian Forces and to
Canada.”
Helping
coordinate the war: Canadian military personnel working aboard American
E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System warplanes helped direct the
electronic war by providing surveillance, command, control and
communications services to US war fighters.
Providing
airspace and refuelling: Countless US troop and equipment transport
aircraft have flown over Canada, to and from the Iraq War, and many
refuelled in Gander, Newfoundland.
Providing air transport:
At least three Canadian CC-130 military transport planes were listed by
US military to supply coalition forces during the Iraq War.
Freeing up US troops: Canada’s major role in Afghan war has freed
up thousands of US troops for deployment to Iraq.
Providing ground troops: At least 35 Canadian soldiers were
directly under US command, in an “exchange” capacity on the ground,
participating in the invasion of Iraq.
Testing
weapons and drones: Two types of cruise missiles (AGM-86 and -129) and
the “Global Hawk” (RQ-4A) surveillance drone, used in Iraq, were tested
over Canada.
Depleted uranium (DU) weapons: Canada is the
world’s top exporter of uranium. Our government pretends that Canada’s
uranium is sold for “peaceful” purposes only, but absolutely nothing is
done to stop the US from using DU in their weapons. America’s A-10 Wart
Hog warplanes have fired DU munitions in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan and
Iraq, while each cruise missile contains three kgs of DU ballast.
Providing RADARSAT data: Eagle Vision, a US Air Force mobile ground
station, which controls Canada’s RADARSAT-1 satellite and
downlinks
its data, was used from the start of the Iraq War.
Diplomatic
support: Former Prime Minister Jean Chrétien supported the
“right” of
the US to invade Iraq, although Kofi Annan said it was an illegal
occupation. Chrétien criticized Canadian citizens who questioned
the
war, saying they provided comfort to Saddam Hussein.
Training
Iraqi police: Canada has spent millions sending RCMP officers to Jordan
to train tens of thousands of cadets for Iraq’s paramilitary police
force.
Training Iraqi troops: High-level Canadian military
personnel joined the “NATO Training Mission in Iraq” to “train the
trainers” of Iraqi Security Forces who are on the leading edge of the
US occupation. A Canadian colonel, under NATO command, was chief of
staff at the Baghdad-based training mission. Canada was the leading
donor to this centre, providing an initial $810 thousand.
Funding
Iraq’s interior ministry: Canada provides advisors and financial
support to this ministry, which has been caught running torture
centres. Thousands of its officers have been withdrawn for corruption,
and it has been accused of working with death squads that executed a
thousand people per month in Baghdad alone in the summer of 2006.
Military
exports: At least 100 Canadian companies sold parts and/or services for
major weapons systems used in the Iraq War. Quebec’s SNC-TEC sold
millions of bullets to the US military forces occupying Iraq. General
Dynamics Canada, in London Ontario, sold hundreds of armoured vehicles
to the US and Australia. Between October 2003 and November 2005, these
troop transport vehicles logged over six million miles in Iraq.
Winnipeg’s Bristol Aerospace sells cluster-bomb dispensing warheads
used by US aircraft in Iraq.
Canada Pension Plan
investments: Canadians are forced to invest their pension money in
hundreds of military industries, including most of the world’s top 20
weapons producers, which are the leading prime contractors for
virtually all the major weapons systems used in Iraq.

Development Agency (CIDA)
helped overthrow the democratically-elected Haitian government of
President Jean Bertrand Aristide in 2004. In the years prior to this
regime change—led by the U.S., Canada and France—although Aristide and
his Lavalas government were extremely popular among the country's poor
citizens, CIDA drastically cut bilateral aid to Haiti.
CIDA simultaneously poured millions of dollars into extremely partisan
Haitian organizations that represented the selfish interests of Haiti's
corporate elite. These groups helped destabilize Haiti's legitimate

Sunday, said Friday he would seek to convince reluctant Europeans of
the need to send reinforcements to fight the Taliban in southern
Afghanistan.

that makes these European countries change their policy considering
that they were "staunchly" against

can be estimated that 0.6 million people have died world-wide due to
opiates in the last 6 years, about 0.5 million of these deaths being

Those

executives complicit in the Afghan Genocide should be arraigned before
the International Criminal Court.

- The French government on Saturday suspended the use of genetically
modified corn crops in France while it awaits EU approval for a full
ban.
The order formalized France's announcement Jan. 11 that it would
suspend cultivation of Monsanto's MON810, the seed for the only type of
genetically modified corn now allowed in the country.
Environmental
groups and anti-globalization activists had long pushed for an order
suspending use of genetically modified corn - but some farmers' group
and agricultural companies opposed the push.

U.S. Militarism & the Drug Trade

This
is the sad face of the "new" Afghanistan, "liberated" from the
ISI-linked Taliban and hailed by the toxic Bush regime as the first
"success" of its ballyhooed (and malign) "war on terror."
Preoccupied with stoning uppity women, applying sharia "law" (fully the
"moral equivalent" of Blackwater Christian Crusaders), censoring
journalists or padding Dubai bank accounts with assets looted from the
Afghan people, the puppet Karzai regime -- like the Taliban before it,
and now -- have a limitless source of "product" on hand to fuel their
rapacious appetite for boodle.
UNODC's chief, Antonio Maria Costa,
commenting on the report warns, "Europe and other major heroin markets
should brace themselves for the health and security consequences."
These consequences won't be long in coming.
The
102-page précis, compiled by the Department of International
Development and the World Bank (dubious sources, to be sure), suggest
what is needed to stem the flow of illicit drugs from the world's
number one narco state are not more guns -- or U.S. Apache helicopter
gunships -- but a concerted effort to rebuild Afghanistan's shattered
economy.
But the likelihood of this happening any time soon, given
America's propensity for shady alliances with far-right drug- and
warlords, say in Colombia or Kosovo just for kicks, is virtually nil.

New Bacterial Infection Linked to Military
|
Troops
arriving home from Iraq and Afghanistan have been carrying a
mysterious, deadly bacteria, according to a new magazine report.
Doctors have
linked the bacterium acinetobacter baumannii to at least seven deaths,
as well as to loss of limbs and other severe ailments, according to the
report, which found the bacterium has spread quickly since the war in
Afghanistan began in the fall of 2001
Acinetobacter
baumannii has been found in military hospitals in Germany, the
Washington, D.C., area and Texas -- the primary destinations of wounded
service members from the two war zones. And it has now spread to
civilians, according to the
report.
"The outbreak began
traveling with patients or nonpatients from Iraq all the way back to
Walter Reed," said Dr. Rox Anderson at Harvard Medical School.

proclamation est une parodie de démocratie, symbole de la
volonté d'une
petite élite ultra-européiste de faire passer en force la
défunte
Constitution, morcelée et présentée dans un ordre
différent mais
identique quand au fond, et désormais baptisée
traité de Lisbonne.
C'est
pourquoi les députés de la coordination Identité,
Tradition,
Souveraineté ont tenu à manifester à cette
occasion le véritable sens,
pour eux, des mots "droits", "citoyens" et "démocratie" en
