NOVELL PRODUCT and VERSION:

ABSTRACT:

Version 1.3B of Novell's NetWare Management Agent (NMA) is provided on NetWire
as a service to NetWare users.  NMA allows NetWare 3.1x and 4.x servers to
communicate with IBM's NetView network management program.  You need all four
compressed files; DISK1.EXE, DISK2.EXE, DISK3.EXE, and DISK4.EXE.  PSREF.EXE
is a PostScript version of the NetWare Reference Guide for NetView Operators. 
To print the PostScipt versions, you must have a PostScript printer.

     IBM NetView

ISSUE

     Both NMA for NetView and NetWare for SAA servers are designed to support
     the NetView network management program from IBM.  These NetWare products
     will support any other network management program that is 100 percent
     compatible with NetView.  The NET/MASTER network management program from
     Sterling Software is an example of a program designed to be compatible
     with NetView.

     PSREF.EXE contains the NetWare Reference Guide for NetView Operators.
     Give a copy to the NetView Operator.

     The Operator's Guide describes the following:

     þ    The messages the NetView operator receives from NetWare.
     þ    The RUNCMDs the NetView operator can send to NetWare.
