Within the following scenario, no dialback occurs. - On a NWC server, 2 users are defined. - A host PC is running NASI /G (the NASI global option) with the username USER1. - USER1's security profile is set for NO DIALBACK. - USER2's security profile is set for FORCE DIALBACK TO A SPECIFIC NUMBER. - If a remote user dials in and, at the Service Selector prompt, enters USER2 as the CONNECT user name, the security profile of USER1 is invoked, and no dialback occurs. - The NWC screen will show that USER1 is connected on that port, not USER2. 2. If a Reachout user: --- a. dials in to a Reachout host --- b. hangups --- c. quickly dials back in On the second dialin, the user can select the host session, but it hangs at CONNECTING. NOTE #1: This problem has only been observed where the host is a Cubix box. NOTE: #2: if the user dials back so quickly, that the host modem can not reset, they will not be able to properly connect. That problem relates to the limitations of the hardware and is not addressed by this patch. SOLUTION: Apply NWCNCS.
