Spurious "Network Error" messages where received when NCS was used with PCAnywhere. 2. File transfer errors, while using Procomm Plus, with the ZMODEM file transfer protocol. 3. "Primary Interrupt Controller" error messages on the server, when used with some non standard serial ports. 4. Use of the remote license feature, could add the port licenses to the wrong Netware Connect 1.0 machine. 5. Some applications could not find the NCS ports while using Netware Connect's INT14 redirector. 6. The "Lease Line" option within Dialcon did not properly initialize. 7. If Netware Connect was loaded in the same server as Novell's MultiProtocol Router v2.11, the use of the ALT ESC keys to switch console screens resulted in a poorly formatted screen. 8. REACHOUT 4.02 users could not see NCS ports after rebooting a NCS workstation set up for host mode. 9. Intermittent failure to connect via X.25. Enhanced Features: 1. RNS.LAN has been modified to increase the performance for remote node users by increasing the number of buffers used in the server. (Formerly in the patch NWCRNS.EXE) 2. VNRN.386 has been changed so that a Windows user with a serial mouse will no longer have to put the modem on COM1, and the mouse on COM2. Now, the mouse can be on either COM port. 3. NWCNCF.NLM and NWCNCFRM.NLM have been modified, so that all printable characters, can now be used in AppleTalk "ZONE" names. 4. NWCTRAP.MIB and NWCTRAP.HLP have been changed so that the error messages referenced by Netware Global Messaging users are more specific about the exact error occurring. 5. RNS.LAN changed to increased speed for multiple connections through Remote Node.
