ABSTRACT:

LZW001.EXE provides a new version of the file VCAFT.386 for the problem,
"Local ring stations BRIDGED".  The patch is only for LANalyzer for Windows
version 2.1.

SYMPTOM

With LANalyzer for Windows version 2.1, running on a Token Ring network, all
the local ring stations are reported as BRIDGED in the Station Monitor window.


SOLUTION

Apply LZW001.EXE.
NOTE: Only install LZW001.EXE on LANalyzer for Windows version 2.1.

Installation Instructions: 
1. Exit Windows.

2. Set your working directory to the LANalyzer for Windows directory.  For
example:  CD \LZFW

3. Rename the existing VCAFT.386 file to back it up.  

4. Copy the VCAFT.386 file from LZW001.EXE to the LANalyzer for Windows
directory.

 
Patch History:

All prior VCAFT.386 patches are for LANalyzer for Windows 2.0.
This is the first patched version of VCAFT.386 which may be applied to
LANalyzer for Windows 2.1.
