NetWare HostPrint/400 1.0

ABSTRACT:

HPT013.EXE is the current maintenance patch for HostPrint/400 and
is recommended for all HostPrint/400 sites.  It corrects 3
problems and, in addition, supplies the HPJOBS.EXE utility which
was accidentally omitted from the distribution disk when
HostPrint/400 was shipped.  HPT013.EXE will update your
HostPrint/400 to Version 1.0.6.

SYMPTOM:

1. The utility HPJOBS.EXE was omitted from the distribution disk
when HostPrint/400 was shipped.  HPJOBS.EXE allows you to display
a list of all printjobs that have been defined for use with
HostPrint.

 2. Error "6276: NetWare print queue not available" on the
Printer Operator Panel.

 3. The READY indicator in the Printer Operator Panel was always
initialized to ON state for local print queues - even if the
queues could not be addressed.

 4. A connection was sometimes not established to a remote
server, if the PRINTCON database held non HostPrint/400 print
jobs for the remote server. 

SOLUTION: 

Apply the files found in HPT013.EXE

Installation Instructions:

1. Create a HPT013 directory.


 2. Put HPT013.EXE into that directory.

 3. Decompress HPT013.EXE:  HPT013   [enter]

 4. If HostPrint/400 is installed on a NetWare 4.10 server, read
and follow the instructions in 4.TXT.

 5. If HostPrint/400 is installed on a NetWare 3.12 server, read
and follow the instructions in 3.TXT.

 6. HPJOBS.EXE has been installed in the SYS:PUBLIC sub-directory
of the
 HostPrint/400 server.  Follow the directions detailed in the
Netware
 HostPrint/400 Administration Guide, pages 2-26 and 2-27.


 HISTORY
 The only prior "patch" for HostPrint/400 was HPT012.  HPT013
supersedes HPT012.
