ABSTRACT:
This file contains a copy of BINDFIX.EXE that has been modified to handle
the "." when using a 3.0 shell with the SHELL.CFG parameter "SHOW DOTS =
ON".  Also included are Tech Bulletins 255 and 256 that deal with BINDFIX
and the use of a 3.0 shell on a 286 v2.1x server.  This BINDFIX is for
NetWare 286 only.

This copy of Bindfix.exe has been modified to handle the '.' when using a
3.0 shell with the shell.cfg parameter "SHOW DOTS=ON".  These circumstances
would previously cause bindfix to delete all directories and files.  
Technical bulletins 255 and 256 outline the problem and mention a 3.0 shell
which has the default of "SHOW DOTS=OFF".  This new shell was only a
partial fix.  This copy of bindfix now allows users to comfortably use the
3.0 shell with bindfix.
