ABSTRACT:

This file contains instructions for fixing an instance of an
expired GroupWise
 Gateway.  This can only be applied to the 8-10-94 4:10am release
of the GroupWise 4.1 OS/2 X.400 Gateway.

SYMPTOM:

The following is the complete set of messages generated by
FIX.EXE. If you
 encounter these, follow the instructions given in the messages
themselves:


 Cannot open x400.exe
 Make sure that the program is in this directory
 and that it is not currently running.

 Incorrect version of x400.exe
 This program is intended solely for GroupWise X.400 Gateway
8-10-94 4:10



SOLUTION: 

This patch will corrent the listed problem.

Installation Instructions:

The FIX.EXE file that you received with this README file must be
run
 in the directory where the Gateway executable (X400.EXE) is
located. Type "FIX" on the command line and press Enter to run
the fix program. FIX modifies the gateway's
 executable file and reports its success with the following
message:

      x400.exe fixed.
