ABSTRACT:

This file directly replaces the WPMODEM.DB file found in Office
4.0, 4.0a and GroupWise 4.1 Async Gateways. It can also be used
with the GroupWise Remote Windows and DOS Clients. 

 Some modem definitions added to the new wpmodem.db file support
baud rates up to 28,800.

ISSUE: 

This file directly replaces the WPMODEM.DB file found in Office
4.0, 4.0a and GroupWise 4.1 Async Gateways.  You must re-select
your modem.

Installation Instructions:

For Office 4.0x and GroupWise 4.x Async Gateways:

 1. Rename or delete the WPMODEM.DB file in the
 <Drive Letter>:\<Domain Directory>\WPGATE\ASYNC40 directory.

 2. Copy the new WPMODEM.DB file into the
 <Drive Letter>:\<Domain Directory>\WPGATE\ASYNC40 directory.

 3. Go into AD.EXE from the Domain that has the Async Gateway
installed.

 4. Highlight the Async Gateway press F6 to Edit.

 5. Select Specific Settings|2 for Communications Setup

 GroupWise Remote Windows Client.

 1. Rename or delete the WPMODEM.DB file in both the C:\OFWIN40
directory and the C:\OFWIN40\ROFDATA directory.

 2. Copy the new WPMODEM.DB file into the C:\OFWIN40 directory
and the C:\OFWIN40\ROFDATA directory.

 3. Reselect your modem from Preferences|Remote|Modem.

 GroupWise Remote DOS Client
 1. Rename or delete the WPMODEM.DB file in both the C:\ROF40
directory and the C:\ROF40\ROFDATA directory.

 2. Copy the new WPMODEM.DB file into the C:\ROF40 directory and
the C:\ROF40\ROFDATA directory.

 3. Reselect your modem.
