Port_Doc Utility (version 4.1) Port_Doc is used to mass copy documents from Portable mode to a floppy (or use this instead of CopyDoc if you use a version of SoftSolutions which is earlier than 4.0). You can copy a single document or up to nine items from a marked list. This utility assumes that what is passed to it is a path and file name which begins with a drive letter. Port_Doc and CopyDoc are not supported by Novell. If you have questions or enhancement requests, please send an email to hmadsen@novell.com To setup a SoftSolutions Launch for Port_Doc in PORTABLE MODE then do the following: 1) Copy Port_Doc.exe to the portable mode directory. 2) Log into SoftSolutions portable mode. 3) Mark some documents. 4) Choose "Launch" from the options menu. 5) Fill in the commandline. a - copy one document: c:\\Port_Doc.exe %r[%p%f] b - copy from a marked list: c:\\Port_Doc.exe %r[%p1%f1 %p2%f2 %p3%f3 %p4%f4 %p5%f5 %p6%f6 %p7%f7 %p8%f8 %p9%f9] To setup a SoftSolutions Launch for Port_Doc do the following for non-portable mode users: 1) Copy Port_Doc.exe to the Util directory (which is a subdirectory under the SoftSolutions programs directory). 2) Log into SoftSolutions. 3) Choose the Setup option from the menu and then choose Applications. 4) Add a record for Port_Doc. a.
