This function allows you to perform an operation on both sides of an equation.

After pressing the button a window will appear.

Select the operation to perform in the upper of the two cycle gadgets. This 
can be one of ADD, SUBTRACT, MULTIPLY, DIVIDE.

Then enter the argument in the string gadget at the top.
