The directories listed below contain the archives of sources submitted to the Usenet list of the same name organized by volume. Within each volume there is an index file listing the contents of the subdirectories below it. The subdirectories mostly contain multi-part messages that are shar (Shell Archive) files. The headers have to be removed and then the file run through the shell on UNIX(tm) systems or processed with the included DOS utilities. See the file readme.1st for information about accessing the long file names from systems that do not support Rock Ridge Extensions to ISO-9660. The Multimedia Viewer frontend for accessing the FAQ's under Microsoft Windows must be installed on your system. To begin installation run setup.exe from the root directory of disc1.
