If you cannot import a token, the cause is usually one of the reasons listed below. In most cases, you receive an error message indicating the reason for the failure and the action to take. If you do not know what to do, contact your administrator.
You specified the wrong file path or you did not specify a file path.
You entered the URL incorrectly or you did not enter the URL.
You entered a URL that does not start with http:// or https://.
You entered a blank or invalid activation code. For example, you omitted or mistyped characters.
The web service could not access the Internet resource.
You provided an incorrect device serial number to your administrator.
You tried to import a token that you already imported.
You imported the maximum number of tokens that your enterprise allows.
You entered an incorrect token file password. If you forget the password, you cannot import the token and must contact your administrator.
The token is not intended to be stored on the device that you selected.
The token is invalid.
