Getting in
To qualify for admission, you must be a man and must be able to read and write Latin, the language of scholarship. All lectures and textbooks are in Latin. The University assumes that you already will be a cleric when you arrive at the University. Women are not admitted to the University. Women interested in advanced learning are urged to consider joining a convent.
Our masters set their own fees, which the students pay directly to them. Students are urged to ensure that their source of funding is secure. Financial aid is available from various sources. The Church often arranges for promising scholars to attend the University. Patrons, such as wealthy noblemen, sometimes will provide funds for those who cannot afford to attend. |
