				(the bottom line)
			But the union dies here. Today.

	Close on the Defiant in dock.

44   INT. DEFIANT - CREW QUARTERS

	Worf is pulling the mattress out of one of the bunk
	beds. His bat'leth and some personal baggage are on
	the floor. He sits down on the hard surface of the
	unpadded bunk, testing it out.

					DAX (O.S.)
			Better.

	Worf turns and sees Dax standing at the door.

					WORF
			Much.

					DAX
			I thought about getting you a
			plant, but somehow it didn't seem
			right.

					WORF
			A wise decision.
