13   INT. SURGERY

	A few hours later.  Bashir and the Nurse have their gloves 
	on again.  Bareil's head is obscured by the clamshell, and 
	they are clearly working on the brain itself with some medical 
	equipment.  Bashir is glancing at the monitors as he works.

					BASHIR
			We need to repolarize his nerve cells 
			with electrical impulses.  The spino-
			thalamic tract will transmit that 
			directly to the cerebral cortex.
