	As Bashir joins Sisko.

					BASHIR
				(quietly; re: the 
				Dims)
			Commander, these people are mentally 
			ill.  They need proper medical 
			treatment.

					SISKO
			I know.  But they're not going to 
			get it.  Not now anyway.

	Bashir picks up on Sisko's mood.

					BASHIR
			What is it?

					SISKO
			That calendar over there... It says 
			today is August thirtieth, twenty-
			twenty-four.

					BASHIR
			I'm not sure what you...

					SISKO
				(cuts him off)
			Ever hear of the Bell Riots?

					BASHIR
				(thinking)
			Vaguely.

	Sisko nods.  He wasn't really expecting Bashir to recognize 
	the name.
