24   INT. DEFIANT - QUARTERS

	Kira is facing Riker with a look of fury on her face.

					KIRA
				(boiling)
			I don't care who you are or what 
			your name is.

					RIKER
			Look, I'm sorry about lying to you, 
			and about... using you.  But it was 
			an operational necessity.

	Kira turns away from him, pacing as best as she can in the 
	narrow confines of the room, trying to let her anger subside.

					RIKER
				(continuing)
			You were a resistance fighter... you 
			know that sometimes you have to do 
			things that you're not proud of in 
			order to accomplish the mission.
