	The computer works and the Bridge LIGHTS UP -- all the 
	consoles are now active.

					RIKER
			Thank you.

	Riker pulls out a small hand phaser and STUNS Kira with it.  
	She falls to the floor.  Riker heads across the Bridge and 
	moves to one of the other consoles and begins working it.  
	After a beat, a man and a woman -- KALITA and TAMAL -- 
	MATERIALIZE on the Bridge.

									CUT TO:

14   INT. OPS

	Dax is working at a console when suddenly ALARMS go off and 
	the station goes to RED ALERT.  Sisko comes rushing out of 
	his office.

					SISKO
			What's going on?

					DAX
				(working furiously)
			I'm not sure... but something's 
			happened to the warp core on the 
			Defiant.  It looks like it's going 
			to breach in about sixty seconds.

					SISKO
			Is anyone on board?

					DAX
			O'Brien was working there this 
			morning.  But I don't know if he--

	The console BEEPS.

					DAX
				(off console)
			Incoming signal from the Defiant.  
			It's Commander Riker.

					SISKO
			On screen.
