Windows Media Player comes with an encoder included. You can download the newest version of Windows Media Player directly from Microsoft at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia ------------------ HOW TO USE THIS CD ------------------ If the CD did not load automatically, you may have AUTO INSERT NOTIFICATION disabled. Refer to your Operating Systems documentation on how to enable it. In the full screen videos you can access simple controls by pressing the right mouse button anywhere on the screen. If you uncheck FULLSCREEN or if you hit ESC ONCE on your keyboard, the video will close and you will be brought back to the presentation. KEYBOARD SHORT CUTS: -------------------- ESC, ESC = Exits from CD ESC = Exits from full screen video ARROW KEY RIGHT = Move forward one frame ARROW KEY LEFT = Move back one frame 1 = Plays first animation on screen 2 = Plays second animation on screen 3 = Plays in reverse, first animation on screen 4 = Plays in reverse, second animation on screen ----------------------------- TIPS ON IMPROVING PERFORMANCE ----------------------------- 1. Exit all other programs. 2. Close all programs running in the SYSTEM TRAY. (beside clock) 3. Run system at lower colour depths. (Example: Change colour from 32-bit colour to 16-bit colour) 4. Disable anything else that may be taking up system resources. (Example: Screen Saver, Background Image) Note: Some Cd-ROM drives may go into "sleep mode" if left to sit still for an expanded period of time. This may cause a delay when trying to navigate through the CD. You may be able to minimize this problem by changing your CD-ROM drives supplemental cache size to small and the access pattern to "No Read Ahead". Refer to your Operating Systems documentation on how to adjust your CD-ROM drives performance settings.
