Furthermore, here is a question he posed:

If you look at it from our point of view, we basically have three options:

1) Have no licensing at all, and totally rely on the honor system.
Although I really wish this would work, it's just too easy to put off
registering software.

2) Have a simple scheme that has minimal hassle and might be fairly easy to
break, but breaking it would probably be as much trouble as getting a valid
license.

3) Go all out with a licensing system that uses your network card serial
number or even a hardware key.  This makes life quite difficult for the
developer, but is a system that is probably very hard to break.

So what do you think the best option is?
