Simple question, but the answer is somewhat more complicated. You could say
that if you cracked one program you're a cracker...but that would be too
easy :p Of course there are thousands of programs with hundreds of different
protection schemes, so cracking one program does not make a cracker of you!
You're also NOT a cracker when you fill in a serial number grabbed from a
cracking site! Yeah, this may sound stupid, but once somebody claimed he
could crack. So I started to ask him some things. One of my questions (and
also my last) was what tools he used. He answered: Oscar. Hehe, no I'm not
joking.....I think I still have the log :)
Anyway I'm deviating again... . The process of becoming a cracker takes many
many years! You have to read a lot of essays on how to crack (not only those
on my site), you have to practice a lot, and you really have to be obsessed
by cracking. Finally you have to realize that you NEVER know everything!!
