Javascript Reversing   NASTY THINGS ~ Nasty Things Nasty things you could do with JavaScript... Another fairly important project, started on 13 March 1999. Last updated: ...........  
There are some evil things, that could happen to you when you travel the net with javascript 'on' in your browser. Of course, it is not possible to get access at your HD using Javascript, but there are some things like:-
 

- collect IP-address   - kill the browser   - get URL where you came from came from etc

 
A lot of these nasty tricks can be used to gather some more information about you. Not very nice, isn't it ? - So, my advice : turn your javascript (and Java) off, when you travel around the web ! Turn it only 'on' at secure sites ! And please : the following informations are really only for your security ! Do not abuse your knowledge !   We have a lot more of such 'nasties' on our HDs (soon to come), BUT : This page lives from your contributions.
