Pine Warbler

La espalda verde, las partes ventrales amarillas y las barras blancas en las alas ayudan a identificar esta especie, aunque puede ser fácilmente confundida con otras reinitas (vea la obra de Dunn et al.). La hembra tiene la espalda gris o parda, con el amarillo ventral más apagado. Tamaño: 13-14 cm.; peso: 9-15 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Anida en los bosques de pino del sureste de Canadá, el este de Estados Unidos, las Bahamas y La Española. Las aves que anidan en América del Norte invernan en el sureste de Estados Unidos. Accidental en la isla de Mona (29 de septiembre de 1987).
