Tiránido de plumaje pardo con las partes ventrales amarillo brillante. Mayor y de plumaje más llamativo que el Juí de Puerto Rico, una especie común en la Isla. Tamaño: 19 cm.; peso: 35 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Anida en el este de América del Norte, invernando en América Central y el norte de América del Sur. Accidental en Puerto Rico en áreas costeras (registros en la década de 1960).
