Rolliza ave terrícola de cuerpo pardo y un diseño blanquinegro (pardo y crema en la hembra) en la cabeza. Tamaño: 20-25 cm.; peso: 170 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Especie nativa del este de América del Norte y México. Esta especie es rara en Puerto Rico, donde ha sido introducida en Culebra, Vieques y el suroeste de la isla principal, aunque no se ha establecido exitosamente. Una localidad donde la especie ha sido observada recientemente es el Bosque Estatal de Susúa. TAXONOMÍA: GALLIFORMES; ODONTOPHORIDAE |
