The SQL Server DB Monitor will gather VERY comprehensive information about the status of a SQL Server in real-time. The contents of this information is dumped to compilation ACCESS databases which can be queried, graphed, and analyzed. The analysis of this data will show areas of stress, problem queries, problem times of day, etc. This application uses a new technology called 'Blockage Hunting' to pinpoint the effects, and situations leading up to, blocks and dead locks occuring on a server. This information can be of IMMENSE value when stress testing, load testing, or trouble-shooting client/server database systems. This monitor is completely passive and requires NO CHANGES to an existing system. It can be targeted at any SQL Server and collect its information non-intrusively. The data gathered by this monitor has been proven to be statistically accurate. For more information on this applicaiton see the word document STRTMNTR.DOC.
