H E L P M E ----------- The Menu is devided into three Sections 1: The file selector. On the left of the menu is the directory selector. use this to choose one of the many directories on the CD. Directly under this is the file selector. When you have selected a dir- ectory, the files contained within that directory will be shown here. Choose one of the files. 2: The file description box When you click on a file (When you have highlighted a file in a directory you can use the cursor keys to go up and down the box.) the title of the game and a description of the file (it there is one) will be displayed in the centre of the menu. 3: The Options. When you have selected a file you think may quench your needs you will need to unzip it to floppy or your hard drive. A: The destination. The contents of the Zip file need somewhere to go when you unzip them. The Menu doesn't know where you want your selected zip file to go, so you have to tell it. On the right of the menu under the View Zip, Unzip and Make Dir Buttons, is the device selector. Use this to choose which device you want to send your files too. eg. a:\ (floppy disc) c:\ (your first hard drive) When you have selected a device, you may want to put the files into a directory. Under the device selector is the directory selector. Double click on the directory you want. B: Can't find a suitable directory? If you're unziping a few programs you may want to create a few sub- directories. Click on the Make Dir button and the Menu will ask you to enter the name for new directory, you must include the drive letter. eg. c:\temp You can create a directory within a *directory. eg. c:\temp\gobman * note: The first directory must already exist. C: Viewing the Zip file. If you are just curious to what is in the zip file, Click on the View Zip button. D: Unziping the Zip file. When you have selected a zip file and the destination directory, click on the Unzip button. The menu will automatically unzip the files for you. The Zip file and the destination directory are displayed at the bottom of the menu at all times. N E W F E A T U R E S We have added some new button to our every improving menu system. View .HLP Files: This will load the windows help file system View .TXT Files: This will display any asc-ii text files which the menu system finds. View .BMP Files: (Pictures). View .ICO Files: (Pictures). View .WMF Files: (Pictures). Load .EXE Files: Loads any programs which work under windows. Note please that some of the .exe files only work under dos which may crash the menu system. * Look out for Future releases with even more NEW FEATURES. Have fun CDSoft.
