How to: Play an audio clip associated with an article

Articles containing audio clips have small thumbnail icons at the top right of the article.

• To listen to the audio clip, place the cursor over the icon and click once. The cursor changes from an arrow to a pointer when over the thumbnail icon.

• A new browser window, containing the caption to the audio clip, appears - this is your 'Media Window', where all multimedia items are displayed. Click on PLAY! to hear the clip.

• The media window remains on your Windows 95 Taskbar until it is closed using either the close cross (X) in the top right-hand corner of the title bar, or by clicking on a related article link at the bottom of the window.

• You can move the media window around the screen by placing the cursor on the title bar and dragging it with the mouse button held down.

• To minimize the media window to the Taskbar, click on the minus button (–) at the top right of the window.
