1.0 INTRODUCTION

The Ultimate Media Player for Windows 9x and NT

Sonique sets a new precedent in application design, fusing a highly stylized aesthetic
with a fluid, windowless interface. The result is a program that is not only extremely
full featured, but intuitive and stylish as well. Sonique's complete range of
audio features are complemented by a variety of feedback visualizations. This version
now supports streaming mp3 audio in addition to the following audio formats: MPG, MP2, MP3, WAV, MOD, XM,
IT, S3M, and can also replace the windows CD-Player for Compact Disc Audio Playback. Sonique also boasts
one of the fastest and best sounding decoding engines in the industry.

3.0 RELEASE NOTES:

• Hot keys have been added - click here for the list.
  
• You can turn CD Auto-Insert  Detection on & off in the SETUP OPTIONS. 
  
• Sonique now supports streaming - it will open links to streamable files or you can input a URL
  by clicking the file open button. Sonique will remember URLs that you access - use the drop down button in the
  file open dialog.
  
• Multiple Files may be dragged at once. Use the playlist editor to see
  which files are currently loaded and the order in which they will play.
  You may reorder the list manually by dragging files around the list or
  using the UP/DOWN arrow keys to move selected files.
  
• Sonique does have a visual plug-in system.    Additional visuals can be found at our website - www.sonique.com/plugs.html.
  
• The INFO button in enlarged mode is not yet implemented.
