Park Headquarters is at the corner of Hamilton and Massachusetts Streets in St. Croix Falls. Visitor Centers are located in St. Croix Falls, Grantsburg (Highway 70), Trego, and Stillwater. WHEN TO VISIT Open year round. Trego and Grantsburg Visitor Stations closed during Winter months. Peak visitor month is July. Climate: Winter, -4 to 26 degrees F; Summer, 75 to 86 degrees F. POINTS OF INTEREST About 200 miles of the beautiful St. Croix River and its Namekagon tributary make up this area, an initial component of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. Numerous developed and primitive canoe access campsites are available.
