[HDNG]INTRODUCTION:[EHDNG][PARA][BULL] The College is part of University of Oxford and students are entitled to use its facilities.[EBOLD][PARA]St Peter's is situated just off Oxford's main High Street, 800 yards from Carfax. It's small and cosy, with buildings from a variety of architectural styles arranged around 4 grass quads. The large JCR,[ITAL] ideal for entertainments[EITAL], is on the ground floor of a 70s building, where some of the 1st years live, and next to the modern redbrick bar, which spills over onto a terrace, overlooking Oxford. As a result, the students have a wailing whale of a time and, coming from diverse backgrounds, are as down to earth as a peat bog.[EITAL][PARA][PARA]Bar; student bands and fortnightly bops in the JCR (cap 200); concerts in chapel (250); JCR sometimes hires local clubs in Oxford; black tie dinners each term and ball every other year.
