Matt is TK's older brother and Tai's rival. These two always fight, mainly because of Matt's attitude for doing things his way. He's kind of a loner, often deciding to hide his feelings. Strangely, though, he got the crest of Friendship, because he eventually learns that friendship is an invaluable treasure.

Matt es el hermano mayor de TK y rival de Tai. Estos dos siempre pelean, principalmente por la actitud de Matt de siempre hacer las cosas a su manera. Es muy solitario, constantemente ocultando sus sentimientos. Extra±amente, el recibe el emblema de la Amistad, debido a que eventualmente se da cuenta de lo invaluable que es la amistad.
