File Associations and Icons

 

To view this screen click the Options button or click the right hand mouse button anywhere on JukeItUp! and select Options2.

File Associations

Allows file types handled by JukeItUp! to be associated, so that double clicking the filename from Explorer launches JukeItUp! if necessary, and plays the song. If JukeItUp! is already running, the song will be played immediately. If JukeItUp! is already playing a song, the double clicked file will be added to the playlist. Associated file types will be marked in Explorer with the JukeItUp! icon. The buttons 'All' and 'None' select or clear all tick boxes. When a tick is removed from a box, the previous file association is restored. You may find that some tick boxes are greyed out. If you want to use JukeItUp! to play these file types, you must install Microsoft's Media Player 6.4.

Multiple Icon Choices

Gives a choice of 8 different icons to represent JukeItUp! and its associated files. Note that the icon type may not change until the next reload of Windows. The icon used by a desktop shortcut to JukeItUp! is not changed by this method, but may be changed by right clicking the shortcut, selecting 'Properties' and clicking the button 'Change Icon' on the 'Shortcut' tab.
