Q. When I run JukeItUp! a 'Skin failed to load' error message is displayed. A. 1. Check the structure of the files directory - In the directory where JukeItUp.exe is loaded you should have a sub-directory called 'Skins'

2. You have a skin loaded incorrectly. A skin should be loaded in its own sub-directory within the skins sub-directory. 

e.g. the Planet skin should be stored in the following structure.

C: (or the drive of your choice)

JukeItUp (or directory of your choice containing jukeitup.exe)

Skins (sub-directory of the above directory)

Planet (as in this example or the name of the downloaded skin as a sub-directory to Skins directory)

The files for the skin including one called planet.jsk within the above directory.

NOTE: Each Skin must have its own sub-directory within Skins.

3. You have a corrupted skin file - download the skin from the source or contact the author of the skin

4. You are trying to use a skin from a different application. JukeItUp!'s skins are NOT transferable to other platforms/applications neither are other application's Skins usable on JukeItUp!

5. Reinstall JukeItUp!

Q. JukeItUp! does not run.
A. 1. Go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and uninstall JukeItUp! Then reinstall JukeItUp! from the original jukeitup.msi file that you downloaded or were supplied.

2. Install latest version of JukeItUp! or download file again from JukeItUp.com

Q. JukeItUp! runs and shows that I am playing a track but I can't hear any music or it is too loud. A. 1. Check main volume level. Double click volume icon in System Tray and check level. (Check to make sure you have not got MUTE selected)

2. Check that you have the latest sound drivers for your sound card.

3. Check to see if you can play any music or sound. If not check that speakers/earphones are working or plugged in correctly.

Q. Music skips.
A. 1. Check hardware/software specifications.

2. Check you have the latest drivers for your sound card.

3. Close any other applications you have running.

Q. Double clicking jukeitup.msi does nothing. A. You do not have msi support installed. We provide a version of JukeItUp! which installs msi support for you on our web site. Download and install jukeitup.zip.
Q. Some playback formats such as wma and aiff do not appear on the song buttons. A. You do not have Media Player installed. You need to have Media Player 6.4 installed on your machine to use these additional formats. Available from www.microsoft.com.
Q. Various buttons and controls are greyed out and I cannot use them. A. After the 30 day trial period, all features added since version 1.36 become unavailable. Register your copy of JukeItUp! to restore full functionality. See Registration.
Q. I have never seen a picture in the cover pic window / The cover pic window does not appear. A. To display the cover pictures you must have Internet Explorer version 4 or later installed on your machine. Available from www.microsoft.com.
