INSTALLATION:
=============

	To install BarBack, unzip the barbk50u.zip file to
a temporary directory on your hard disk.  Then run the 
setup.exe program and follow the instructions on the screen.

OVERVIEW:
=========

	BarBack is a bartender's reference rendered in 
electronic form.  There are over 10,400 drink recipes in 
BarBack 5.0.  That is more than any bartender's book you 
can buy or any otrher program or web site.  
	BarBack also has some special features that would 
simply not be possible in a book and are also not commonly 
found in other computerized guides.  

FEATURES:
=========

Searches:  BarBack has the ability to search based on name,
	ingredient, recipe, category, and glassware.

Views:  BarBack can organize the drink list into six 
	different views:  Name, Liquor, Glassware, Category, 
	Marked, and Liquor Cabinet. 

Drink Marking:  You can mark drinks that you like or that 
	interest you and come back to them later.  There is a 
	view that shows only marked drinks and there is a 
	print feature that only prints the marked drinks.

Printing:  BarBack includes (in the registered version 
	only) the ability to print on index cards with one
	drink per page.  This allows you to make a handy card 
	file of popular drinks to keep near your bar.

Liquor Cabinet:  You let barback know what ingredients you
	have and it will tell you what drinks you can make.  
	Can include inexact matches.

Shopping List:  You select the drinks you want and BarBack 
	will create a shopping list of ingredients and amounts 
	for you.

Ingredient Highlighting:  Every recipes now highlights any
	ingredients that you are missing in a different color.  
	You can change the color or turn this feature off if 
	you want.

Ingredient Cost:  You can enter in the cost of ingredients 
	and BarBack will use this information to calculate the 
	cost of each drink.

Drink Price:  You can set prices for each drink based on a 
	markup from the cost or based on a markup (or down) 
	from the current price.  You can even specify rounding 
	and a minimum price.


REGISTRATION:
=============

	BarBack for Windows 5.0 is a shareware program which 
means that a registration fee is required if you find the 
program useful and you continue to use it past the 30 day 
registration period.

	Registration of BarBack entitles you to the complete 
drink database (currently 10,404 drinks) and the ability to 
print drinks in three formats, including the new "index" 
format as well as the ability to export the drink list to a 
text format or a database format so you can do whatever you 
want with it.  You also get the 46 page printed user guide.

	The registration fee is $45.00 US.  To register, send 
a check or money order in US funds to:

You can register BarBack online with a credit card via the 
RegNet shareware registration service.  This is more
