The in house designing studio at Gabbana, has always been an integral part of the store and under the able guidance of Mr. Akbar, the team of professional designers, merchandisers, co ordinators, production personnel and the administrative staff function to create and develop collections every season. And each season the team strives to achieve the same vision of perfection.

The designing team at Gabbana works to a triple schedule, i.e. the collections are aimed towards:
Trend forecasts and innovation.
Clientele requirements.
Customised tailoring.

For the initial case,
The design team start work six months prior to a season.
The inputs include international trend and color forecasts and styling magazines for men and women, retail and merchandiser inputs, market research and statistics, pre-season sourcing and sampling and most importantly, customer opinion and feedback.


Adaptation to climactic and geographic conditions and constant innovation in style and detail, keeping in mind the functionality of clothing are of prime importance to us.
